Rule One. Welcome! This is an affiliated, but indie friendly thor odinson (mcu) blog. The mun runs on EST. Happy to have you!Rule Two. General RP conduct etiquette applies! No god-modding, meta-gaming, etc. When in doubt, the golden rule applies!Rule Three. I do not post irl drama, current events, etc. on this blog whatsoever, save for the occasional salt post referring to the ...current... state of the MCU. (mostly in regards to Thor tbh.)
You can blog that tag by blocking the term "salt to taste"!Rule Four. When it comes to Thor's powers, he is an incredibly overpowered individual. I will not nuke his power for the sake of your muse.
This is mostly only applicable to fight/sparring threads, though. (and I am open to discussion.)Rule Five. By following this blog, it is important to me that my mutuals assume a basic level of respect for my character. While that should not need to be said, I have been made need to clarify the following points:Do not assume that Thor is a dumb, unintelligent, or an otherwise abrasive individual.Do not refer to him as a Himbo.Even if meant in a "joking" manner, this term, amongst plenty others, is used to ridicule Thor and those in favor of him. I have seen it thrown around enough to be deeply uncomfortable by it. It is not funny to me.

Rule Six. If you don't know much about the MCU - or specifically Thor's third of the franchise - no worries! I'd be more than happy to answer questions and discuss! :) I encourage it, actually. There's a lot of misinformation about Thor ever since "Thor: Ragnarok" came out. PLEASE feel free to send asks or ims!Rule Seven. This blog will occasionally feature some darker content. These topics will be tagged with "cw [content here]".

This blog is largely canon divergent. Thor's main verse takes place in a canon-divergent post!infinity war verse spanning Endgame - Post!Endgame.Two Infinity War - Endgame verses are available. One that is my personal canon divergence for Thor, and another that is canon compliant. I will ask before committing to either one, though my preference is the divergency.Rule Nine. I'm open to plotting alternative universes just as well as sticking to canon! (or rather, specifically phase 1-2 canon, with some elements of phase 3. Please refer to above Canon Divergency or his Verses Page.) If you are an Avengers muse, don't be afraid to plunk them into any part of the Avengers timeline! I'm always excited to deepen Thor's relationship with his team. (This man needs friends and he needs them badly.)

Rule Ten. This blog is strictly Anti-Thorki and will not tolerate any insinuation of it. This blog is also heavily affiliated with the sister blog mischiefmodig when it comes to Thor's life on Asgard before the events of Thor (2011) and the post!Endgame Main Verse.Rule Eleven. I ship based on chemistry! My primary ship for Thor is Fosterson, as is his canon. As such, in a modern setting, he will largely refer to her as his love interest. HOWEVER: all ships that form organically will be kept in separate universes.Rule Twelve. I am a roleplayer who thrives primarily off of ooc communication with my rp partners, and impromptu asks, threads, etc. I encourage my mutuals to send me asks at their leisure, and to tag me in random starters when inspiration strikes! v.01. A Kindling of Sorts. Main Verse .Canon Divergent Post!Endgame (see verse 04) .Thor, All-Father of the Nine Realms and King of Asgard, endeavors to lead his people to a true rebirth of prosperity. A life beyond that of survival.He redoubles his pervious efforts, only this time he spends his time and resources searching for a suitable new planet. He will also attempt to reforge the ties he severed with the friends he had forsaken during his depressive spiral and mental break, to varying degrees of personal success.Thor deals heavily with depression, guilt, etc. and will very often times hold everyone at a distance in order to cope with the threat of loss. Even those he once was close to. (Especially those he was close to.) He grieves his family, his home and his friends deeply and will oftentimes be consumed with the work of rebuilding a home for his people.This verse does not include the events of Love and Thunder (2022) and is heavily affiliated with sister blog mischiefmodig .v.02. Counting Stars. Takes place primarily between 2015-2017.Thor is a traveler and protector of the Nine Realms after having "given up" his birthright to Odin All-Father .He is assuaged by premonitions of a dark future, and when he isn't on Earth protecting the humans there alongside the Avengers, spending time with his beloved, Jane Foster, Thor spends a great deal of time traveling across the cosmos in search of the Infinity Stones.Note: The events in Love and Thunder, such as Thor's enchantment of Mjolnir, the Fosterson breakup and ...generally all of how that was handled is up for debate and discussion with all Jane Foster muns!v.03.O Sleeper. Takes place between the years of 2013-2015.lives with Jane Foster on Earth after giving up his claim to the throne. He works full-time as an Avenger, and grows closer to them every day...Despite his yearning to find a new home in them, he plans to leave the Avengers once Loki's scepter is returned into his care. For their acceptance of him into the fold has created bonds that Thor treasures deeply... and has never been more afraid to have, and to lose.

v.04. Cold is the Night. The primary, and canon-divergent verse for Thor concerning Endgame and post!Endgame .(NOTE: leads in to main verse.)While all things in Infinity War remain the same, Thor does not leave his people to their own devices. While he struggles severely with alcoholism, depression, PTSD and various other afflictions, Thor does what he can to support his people as they rebuild a new home (named Asgardia) in Norway . Despite this, his efforts to begin to wane and his health begins to fail again by the time Professor Hulk and Rocket come to fetch him for the time heist.After the Time Heist, Thor does not give his birthright up to the Valkyrie. and does not go with the Guardians of the Galaxy to travel the universe. Instead, he remains based in Norway as he searches for a new planet for his people.v.05.Wanderer. Canon-Compliant with the Marvel Cinematic Universe post-Infinity War.Thor loses himself, gives the Valkyrie his crown, and leaves Earth to wander the stars as seen at the end of Avengers: Endgame.The events of Love and Thunder (2022) are not applicable here. Specifically not the ending with 'Love' being adopted.v.06.Shattered. Canon-Compliant with Love and Thunder (2022) and primarily takes place post!film.Thor remains on Earth, nearby the town of New Asgard, but not quite within his home's territories. With Jane Foster having died wielding the mantle of The Mighty Thor, Thor struggles to keep his mind and heart afloat in keeping with his promise to Jane.Note: This verse takes place before the ending of Love and Thunder (2022) during the adjustment period of adopting Love. He has not adopted her, has no plans to adopt her, and considers her more of his ward. They are not close. ...But he would be willing to become closer for the sake of the child, should she allow it.v.07.Long in the Wind. Takes place between 2011-2013.
Various plot lines and time periods ensue, but this verse mostly covers the events taken place between Thor 1, Avengers 1, and Thor 2.v.08.The Truth is a Cave. Proto-Norse and Viking Era.
Thor's childhood years, detailing his time as a prince of Asgard before and newly under the tutelage of his father, Odin All-Father. May feature viking clans/1011 B.C.E. Midgard, Omnipotence City, etc.

v.07.Yggdrasil. Thor's crossover verse.While Thor's personality, backstory, and lifetime is all roughly the same in keeping with the MCU canon, he takes more inspiration from the Marvel comics in that he is a legitimate deity from space.His existence is one that transcends space and time, and in his many lives he has seen worlds end and be reborn in countless star systems.Likely, he has alighted upon your world - especially Earth - after quite some time apart from it, having become something of a vague myth and legend over time. But his heart is that of a protector god, and he would be quite pleased - honored, even - to get to know you.v.00.TBA. ...more to come... in time!

v.08.Wreck-It Ralph. Thor is the main character of the game Thor: The God of Thunder.Once a beloved household staple, Thor had many adventures with his brother, his friends, and was happily situated in the memory of his child's save systems.However, his game was corrupted by a glitch that infected his hammer, Mjolnir. So great was the devastation that his version of Asgard as completely destroyed, and his game was abandoned and discarded. While Thor and a few NPCs were able to escape, the fate of his brother, his parents, and his friends are unknown to Thor.He now travels the internet, having escaped to some semblance of safety, and now resides there in something of a self-imposed exile.
